The purpose of the core is to empower and educate the core of the music industry, the DJs. The Core DJ Hot List is a weekly spotlight summary of the hottest NEW records serviced to the mixshow and mixtape DJ community. All records chosen for this very competitive list are considered TOP PRIORITY records for the members of The Core DJs.

The records are selected based on their potential to be hit records if provided the proper follow-up support actions by the artist, their labels, and management teams. We also take into consideration whether they are true HITS that will drive sales or just potential big radio records.
